Thanks for the comment! I’m hesitant to put a microphone anywhere in the logo, though. Mics get used way too often in VO artist logos, and I intentionally avoided that path when designing mine.

Nice Card! just include one small picture of mic instead of “l” in Vocal.

Thanks for the thoughts, Dan! I haven’t heard a lot of Todd Rundgren’s music, but he definitely has a knack for thought-provoking lyrics. I’ll be sure to track down that tune.

Found your site through Bob Souer’s site:

FInd a copy of “Soul Brother” from Todd Rundgren’s “Liars” CD.
(You can hear a sample on iTunes) some sample lyrics…

“There’s something missing in the sound
That so used to satisfy
It may rock and it may roll
But whatever happened to the soul.”

“If you want to watch me get down,
Just watch me wave my hands around.
It’s a distraction I’m told,
To hide my total lack of soul.”

This song itself, may be Epic Fluff of it’s own sort, and plays off Rundgren’s “outsider-hipper-than-thou” image. But it makes a point.

Ja, I did the scene where the guy with the cuisinart runs into the crowded market square. It was a fun bit.

Right now I’m finding that my reel is quickly dating itself, the films I did were over 5 years ago and Star Trek just raised the space bar! I need to find a copy of mudbox or something to freshen up.
