Background: I joined the º£½ÇÉçÇø accounting faculty in 2007, bringing more than 15 years of teaching experience in both the online and classroom environments.
What Courses you teach at NHCC: I have taught all the accounting courses offered at º£½ÇÉçÇø and currently teach the following: ACCT 2111 Financial Accounting, ACCT 2112 Managerial Accounting, ACCT 2300 Accounting Capstone.
Credentials: I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and complete a variety of continuing professional education courses annually to stay current. I have experience as a tax practitioner in public accounting and I am a Certified Public Accountant.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that teaching and learning are a process of continuous change and discovery. I engage students by using practical examples and incorporating a variety of technology-based tools to accommodate the students’ learning styles. Education is not a stagnant field. I am in this field because of the ability to change and improve upon what I do and how I do it.
