Part 1. Policy Statement
海角社区 considers all applicants for admission regardless of race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, status in regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The college follows an open door admission policy, which means that any person who has graduated from an accredited high school, successfully completed a General Educational Development (GED) examination, or who can demonstrate an Ability to Benefit is eligible for admission.
海角社区 has taken steps to assure that lack of English skills will not pose a barrier to participating in the application, admissions, and enrollment process. These include provisions for communicating with records, registration, and advising personnel, a well-defined information and referral process, and the English Language for Academic Purposes (EAP) program.
