About the Show

The NHCC Fine Arts Department is excited to host the 17th annual Northwestern High School Art Exhibition in the Joseph Gazzuolo Fine Arts Gallery. The exhibition celebrates the outstanding artwork produced by local area high school students and includes drawings, paintings, photography, jewelry, ceramics, and more.

People's Choice Award

Every year, attendees of the art show can vote on their favorite piece. The student with the most votes wins the People's Choice Award and is featured on the art show promotion materials for the following year. In 2024, Avery Chirpich won the People's Choice Award for their work titled 鈥淎valanche Lake.鈥

In addition to the People's Choice Award, judges select winners from each high school. Students will receive their awards at an award ceremony on NHCC's campus.

This is a group of ceramic art pieces on display in the Gallery. The flower vase has red, pink and white flowers on it and a wavy, shell-like, pink glazed edge.
This is a ceramic and mixed media art piece on display in the Gallery. It was designed to look like a tree stump, with bark, moss, a snake, mushrooms and wood grain on it.
This is a group of jewelry designed by high school students on display in the Gallery. The pendant necklace consists of a gold chain with a green stone in the center.
